This week, crossCert was represented by Norberto Fueyo at the CINEA Cross-Programme Buildings Clustering Meeting in Brussels.
CINEA, the European Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency, brought together leaders and innovators to share best practices, market successes, and policy support actions aimed at advancing the energy transition in the building sector. This event provided a platform to extract valuable lessons, formulate recommendations, and strengthen the community of beneficiaries of EU-funded projects.
Norberto Fueyo delivered an insightful presentation on crossCert’s key findings regarding the consistency of the building certification process. His talk highlighted the results of crossCert’s performance gap study, outcomes from the cross-testing exercise, and a detailed analysis of the sources of inconsistencies in Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) across different countries.
For those interested in delving deeper into these findings, a copy of the presentation is available here.
crossCert remains committed to driving forward the energy transition in the building sector by continuously improving the certification process and ensuring greater consistency and reliability across Europe.
